Singer/songwriter JJ Soulx flows soulfully and poetically with lyrically conscious music and a tone that sits neatly between Erykah Badu & Lauryn Hill.
JJ Soulx (silent x), not to be mistaken for JJ Soul, is a soul queen that uses music to express her roots and spirituality.
JJ spent her early days surrounded by the sound of jazz, soul and gospel, from this she grasped a great feel for music and a passion for singing and songwriting. With a range of influences, JJ developed a unique soulful sound, with a raspy and distinct flare. Some describe JJ Soulx as the UK’s answer to Neo Soul.
